NRVCS (New River Valley Community Services) is the public provider of behavioral health services. NRVCS offers community-based programs for both children and adults who are living with mental illness, developmental disabilities and/or substance use disorders. New River Valley Community Services is part of a state-wide system of Community Services Boards, which serves residents throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.

  • You can request in-person or telehealth sessions.
• With this service you get 4 free sessions per incident, per calendar year. Psychiatric Services are also available.
