Center for New Directions

Center for New Directions (CND) at North Idaho College provides personalized support for students navigating life transitions while pursuing their education and career goals. The program is designed to assist single parents, displaced homemakers, and students entering non-traditional career fields by connecting them with resources, guidance, and individualized support.

CND offers assistance with career and education exploration, admissions and program planning, time management, and goal setting. Students can also access workshops, job preparation resources, and referrals to campus and community services to support both academic success and personal well-being.

With a focus on retention and completion, CND empowers students to overcome barriers, build confidence, and successfully move toward meaningful employment and long-term career pathways.
