The mission of The Counseling Services is to promote students’ personal growth and development and to assist students in coping with personal difficulties so they can benefit and succeed from their university experience.
Getting started with counseling is easy. Call us at 906-635-2752, email us at counselingservices@lssu.edu, or stop by our front desk at 623 W. Easterday Ave. to schedule an appointment. Our receptionist can answer questions you might have about how in-person or telehealth services work.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
(closed for lunch 12 – 1 PM; hours are limited when school is not in session and during the summer)

If a mental health emergency occurs in the evening or on a weekend, the following resources are recommended:
