NIC Student Counseling Services offers free, confidential mental health support to help students navigate personal, academic, and emotional challenges. Licensed counselors provide short-term individual counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals to community providers when longer-term or specialized care is needed. Common areas of support include stress, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, and overall well-being.  You don’t have to be in a crisis to seek counseling services!  We encourage you to seek out support proactively, before things get bad, to ensure your well-being is taken care of!

Services are student-centered, culturally responsive, and focused on helping students build coping skills, strengthen resilience, and succeed both inside and outside the classroom. Students can access support through scheduled appointments, workshops, and campus outreach programs designed to promote mental health awareness and connection.
