If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis, you don’t have to face it alone. The Guidance Center provides crisis support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, having thoughts of suicide or self-harm, worried about a friend, or struggling with a situation that feels too difficult to handle on your own, you can reach out for help.

What happens when you call?

When you call, you’ll be connected with crisis support services. You may be asked questions about what you’re experiencing and whether you’re safe. The goal is to listen, understand your situation, and help determine what support you need. Depending on the circumstances, services may include crisis assessment, safety planning, referrals, or additional mental health support.

You don’t have to know exactly what to say or have everything figured out before calling. Reaching out is the first step toward getting help.
