Crisis Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, to respond to adults experiencing mental health crises. A mental health crisis is an emergency that involves a severe disruption in an individual’s daily functioning. Crisis Services include medical detox beds for substance use withdrawal. VBH’s Crisis Services teams provide information and crisis phone counseling, face-to-face crisis evaluation, triage, referrals, and follow-up services.
